Moana Shipping BAF decrease

Since our last review in July 2008, oil prices have declined to lower levels.

Maersk NZ-NC-FJ service

Date : 19/08/2008

The Maersk Radford will be replaced by the Maersk Fuji on the 26th of September. This shouldn't cause any interruption in the schedule. Also we are exchanging the Napier call for a Tauranga call starting on Voy 0837.

Southern Pasifika V156 delayed

Date : 07/08/2008

The Southern Pasifika V156 will proceed back to Auckland for repairing after discharging in Suva. The cargo to Wallis and Futuna will be transhipped onto the Southern Tiare V068 scheduled as follow :

Suva 13/08

Wallis 16/08

Futuna 18/08

The Southern Pasifika will be back on the service from 24th August.

Southern Pasifika V156 delayed

Date : 04/08/2008

Vessel Southern Pasifika would be delayed until further notice after she was damaged in the severe storm in New Zealand last week. The Southern Pasifika could not berth at remote ports without a bow thruster and would therefore need urgent repairs.

The owners would conduct a damage assessment to see how long repairs would take and whether they could be carried out on the island or in New Zealand.

Dear Clients,

Increased fuel prices necessitate a review of the BAF ( Bunker Adjustment Factor ) on the below trades:

New Zealand to Wallis & Futuna the current rate of 47.5% will be increased to 52.5%.

Nouméa to Vila, Wallis & Futuna the current rate of 40% will be increased to 45%.

Fiji to Vila, Wallis & Futuna the current rate of 40% will be increased to 45%.
